Shea McKenna is a 2023 MIF/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from West Deptford, NJ who attends West Deptford. Recorded a 7.22 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, compact frame with a high waist and room to add strength. Primary middle-infielder with some bounce in his step, clean glove actions throughout the fielding process and the ability to range fairly well to either side. Displayed athleticism during his round, while displaying the ability to change arm angles when necessary. Recorded arm strength up to 83 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher with simple, easy operation and some velocity upside as he continues to add strength. Used full windup delivery with belt high leg lift and shorter stride out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the upper-70s for the majority out his outing, touching the low-80s occasionally and topped out at 82 mph. Uses high three-quarters arm slot with slight stab on the backside of the arm swing, while showing developing command of the strike zone. Mixed in short 11-5 breaking ball that showed some late horizontal tilt to it and will continue to improve as he garners more velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Middle-of-the field approach with quickness to his hands and good feel for the barrel. Displayed consistent line drive impact and gap-to-gap power potential. Solid overall skill set with some projection remaining, as he adds strength and makes minor adjustments mechanically. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
