Jax Phillips is a 2024 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends East Cobb Baseball Academy. Long athletic build with good present strength and lots of projection to come. Right handed hitter, hits from a low hand set load, pretty still start, short and direct path to the ball, can extend more out front for more power and carry, high contact swing approach on a power body. 7.30 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has long and loose athletic actions through the ball, throws from a low slot with very good carry at times, charges the ball aggressively, also plays first base. Did not pitch at this event but has been up to 90 mph in the past at PG events and is a two-way prospect. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Georgia.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
