Parker Gelfuso is a 2018 3B/1B, OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Moorpark, CA who attends Sierra Canyon. Medium, athletic frame with good room to continue filling out body and adding strength. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.96 seconds. Hits from medium base in balanced stance, coils into load, heavily rotational upper body in swing, very short swing with good hand speed. Could stand to get lower half more involved to unlock more power. Showed ability to make line drive contact to all fields. Worked out defensively both in the infield and the outfield. Showed shorter, clean arm action in the OF, clean footwork to the ball, consistent one hop accuracy on throws up to 73 MPH. Fields cleanly in the IF, worked well side to side and was clean on the backhand, showed solid carry and arm strength across the diamond up to 78 MPH. Very good student.
