Kyle Wullenweber is a 2017 LHP/OF with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends Basha. Wullenweber has a medium sized frame with a thin lean build. He pitches from a low 3/4 arm slot with a medium length arm action. Wullenweber works exclusively from the stretch and gets a good hip coil at balance point. He has a funky delivery with some herky jerky action to it. Wullenweber has some arm speed and he creates a good angle to attack hitters with. He has crossfire action to his delivery with some deception. Wullenweber throws a curveball with 2/8 action to it with some depth to it. He also throws a slider at 66 MPH with tighter break to it. He showed some feel for both pitches and threw a lot of strikes. Defensively he is aggressive to the baseball with solid actions. At the plate, Wullenweber starts with a crouched stance with a foot lift trigger. He stays inside the ball and made line drive contact in BP. Very good student.
