Tanner Currier is a 2024 SS/RHP/2B with an athletic, projectable 5-10 140 lb. frame from Brawley, CA who attends Brawley Union HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.37 60-yard dash. A primary infielder that pitches as well. At the plate he shows promising traits with strong, quick hand/bat speed and solid lower half. Currier showed the ability barrel up the baseball in a consistent manner while employing a pull approach in his BP round and squaring up few loud ones. On defense, he worked through the baseball with confidence while using the proper foot/glove techniques of high level defenders. Throws across the infield were crisp and accurate proving he can make all the routing plays. On the mound he features a 2-pitch mix (FB, CB) out of a 3/4 arm slot. Posted two efficient innings of work allowing no hits, no walks, and striking out 4 on 35 pitches. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
