Justin McHale is a 2017 C/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Yorba Linda, CA who attends Orange Lutheran HS. Medium athletic build, good strength for his age. Right handed hitter, line drive swing plane, handles the barrel well and makes consistent contact, has some hand quickness, tends to lean back in his swing costing himself bat speed and leverage, tools to keep improving with adjustments. Low flexible set up behind the plate, good quickness shifting and blocking, has arm strength for his age, 2.01 best pop time, accurate throws. Good student.
