Max McGuire is a 2017 C/3B with a 6-1 184 lb. frame from Lincoln, NE who attends Lincoln Southwest HS. Large frame, long athletic young build with room to fill. Hits with a long linear stride, creates lift in swing, solid present bat speed with more to come with strength increases. Good body control to swing, short to the ball, contact out front, good balance. Good lower half use to gain ground on catch and throw mechanics behind the palte, can quicken transfer for better release time, hands work, solid arm.
