Cletis Avery is a 2013 2B/SS with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Snellville, GA who attends Shiloh HS. Smaller build, some compact strength. Very good runner, 6.60 60, speed plays well in games, quick first step. Good outfield range, closes on ball well, playable outfield arm strength, good defensive actions. Right handed hitter, spread no stride approach, simple swing mechanics, hits above the ball well, quick hands, has some bat speed with more to come, squares the ball up, some gap power, has an idea how to hit. Solid all around talent.
