Brent Stong is a 2012 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Andover, MN who attends Andover. Athletic build with present strength and room to fill. Throws from 3/4 slot with good arm speed. Long on the backside with good extension out front. Short arm action with some effort. Fastball comfortably 84-85, topped at 87. Works off fastball, also showed good arm action and feel for 76 mph changeup. Curveball at 70 is developing third pitch. Lots of potential on mound. Left-handed bat with quick hands and strength at the contact point. Good extension and feel at the plate. Very good student. Bradley commit.
