Cole Taylor is a 2013 C/1B with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Santa Clarita, CA who attends Oaks Christian HS. Strong well put together build, fairly mature physically. Nice arm strength behind the plate, 1.96 best pop time, receives the ball very well with strong soft hands, release and arm stroke can be shortened up a bit. Right handed hitter, big shift into contact, long and strong swing, very good raw bat speed, showed his present power and ability to lift, ball comes off the barrel hard, hitting tools to continue to build on. Good athlete and all around prospect. Signed with Utah.
