Ian Evert is a 2027 3B/RHP/UT with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Bloomfield Hills, MI who attends Ernest W. Seaholm. Recorded a 7.28 second sixty yard dash time. Thicker strong build with some athleticism. Primary third baseman with some first step quickness and solid lateral range. Glove work is fine with a quicker transfer. Secondary catcher works from a square stance with a quick throw and transfer with a shorter release. Some explosion out of the crouch with a quick arm and with some accuracy to the tag zone. Also threw an inning on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from a full windup with an offset start from the middle of the rubber. Uses a hunched over posture as he reaches balance and rushes through and abbreviated belt-high leg lift. Hands away from the body at the stomach. Breaking into a deep in-line arm path and accelerating through and over-the-top arm angle. Tilts toward first base in transition but syncs everything up and throws a bunch of strikes. Fastball (1879 RPM) up to 84 with arm-side run and life. Depth on his curveball (1955 RPM) with later, vertical shape and flashed a workable change-up (1067 RPM). Right-handed hitter starts from a medium in-line stance with a low back elbow and a low hand set, utilizes a medium hanging leg lift. Generates good bat speed with strong hands. Works uphill through the swing and good strength in the lower half. Peppering the opposite field gap. Exciting player with a high ceiling. Great student. Named to the 2025 Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
