2024 Great Lakes High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Carson Hamblin is a 2027 OF/MIF with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Lake Zurich, IL who attends Lake Zurich. Hamblin showed an impressive Sixty Yard Dash running it at a 6.63 pace. Very athletic frame with some strength and projectability throughout. Primary outfielder with a quick first step to the ball coming through It with aggressive actions fielding it cleanly out in front into a small side shuffle gather. The arm was longer through the backside with at a straight over the top angle as the arm strength looked to still be in development. Right hand hitter with a narrow even foot base into a small toe tap trigger. Showing good connection within the lower half during the load the bat is quick through the zone showcasing some loft to the barrel at contact looking to drive the ball deep to the middle and opposite side of the field. Hambin presented many athletic movements with very projectable actions. He is an excellent student in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
