Jonathan Wise is a 2027 C/RHP/SS with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Brunswick, GA who attends Glynn Academy. Long and lean young athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, starts from a wide and slightly closed base with a hanging leg raise timer, starts with his bat on his shoulder, turns hard and creates some bat speed, can turn the barrel, line drive contact, strong to the left center field gap. 7.54 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, side saddle set up, comes out of his crouch well, has a clean exchange with smooth glove to hand actions, solid present arm strength and made accurate throws, has the tools to continue to improve behind the plate. Also worked out in the infield with third base tools and actions. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
