David Bostic is a 2026 MIF/OF with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Hope Mills, NC who attends Grays Creek. Medium frame with explosive wiry strength and hop to his step and more room to add. Ran the 60 yard dash in 6.70 seconds. Primary position infielder, playing a bit high in his legs but moving well through his reps. Shows some feel for the spot, using one hand gather to deeper midline transfer. High effort arm with feeds up to 77 mph across the diamond. Secondary position outfielder, working methodically through his reps using off to the side one hand gather. Shorter offline arm path here reaching 78 mph on throws back to bags. RHH working from an even stance using a quick bigger leg lift and some timing issues early. Firm start with hands and an upright barrel with a segmented operation as he works to impact. Sprayed the ball around finding more barrels at the end of the round when he got on time. Skills to grow here and an outstanding student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
