Jack Cowan is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Bowling Green, KY who attends Knights Academy. Medium, athletic build. Primary left-handed pitcher, simple mechanics working from a stretch only delivery, hands come set above the numbers, belt high leg lift and a full arm path in the back to a high three-quarters slot. Athletic mover down the mound, fastball sat in the 85-87 mph range with spins north of 2,200 RPM consistently and generates some arm-side life to the pitch. Mixing upper-70s slider (2454 RPM) that tunnels well off the fastball. Tough to barrel in the zone and showed easy arm speed. Excellent student.

Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
