2022 Western Pennsylvania Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Owen Mandler is a 2023 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Pittsburgh, PA who attends Upper Saint Clair. Medium build with good present strength and room for more. 7.34 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, works well through the ball with athletic footwork, can throw on the run, fields the ball cleanly and is pretty smooth in his exchange and release, gets nice carry on his throws, solid overall defensive package. Right handed hitter, hits from a wider base with a tight hand load and a toe tap trigger, has good hand speed and creates some bat speed and jump at impact, downhill swing plane that puts the ball on the ground frequently, mostly middle of the field contact, has the strength and raw bat speed to make adjustments to get the ball in the air more and create more power. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
