Henry Parson is a 2024 RHP/3B, MIF with a 6-0 182 lb. frame from Philadelphia, PA who attends St. Joseph's Prep. Well-proportioned frame with quick athleticism and some present strength. Recorded a 6.98 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch in this look. Incorporated a coiled leg lift into balance with big shoulder turn and drop-and-drive lower movements down the slope. Fastball worked in the 83-87 mph range effortlessly throughout his outing with good carry and topped out at 88 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot. Developing command of three-pitch arsenal, promising spin traits that allow for fastball to play up in the zone, tunnels both slider and cutter effectively off his fastball with slider flashing swing-and-miss attributes with lateral sweep to it. Enticing profile with more velocity as he continues to refine mechanics. Secondary infielder with some lateral range to either side, a slightly deeper funnel and arm strength up to 84 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly open stance with lower hand set, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Displayed tight turns into launch, plenty of present bat speed and impact through the middle-of-the field. Engages lower half well, creates leverage out in-front and has some looseness to his hands. Flashed pullside power potential with good feel for the barrel and upside remaining. Quick, twitch athlete that will continue to improve in all facets of his game with proper mechanical refinements. Excellent Student. Named to the 2023 Northeast Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
