Mid-Atlantic High School Notebook

JD Teza, 2026 OF, Manasquan (N.J.) came up clutch in his team’s season opener on Saturday as Manasquan secured its first win of the season in walk-off fashion. The 6-foot-4 righty hitter drove a fastball off the fence in right-center field, bringing home the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning. Just a few feet shy of his first home run of the year, Teza showcased his power tool as well as his ability to compete with high velocity arms. The uncommitted outfielder has begun to fill out his tall and lean frame, adding some obvious strength in the offseason. With plenty of projection still remaining, Teza makes for a very intriguing bat in the 2026 class that could very well have a breakout season this spring.
